NOTICE OF CLOSING OF THE OFFICE OF THE INDEPENDENT INQUIRY COMMITTEE

The Independent Inquiry Committee into the United Nations Oil- for-Food Programme (“IIC”) closed its office effective December 31, 2006. The Office of the Independent Inquiry Committee ("OIIC") will continue to process requests from Member States of the United Nations, for information relating to IIC's investigations, in accord with Secretary-General's bulletin ST/SGB/2006/16 (22 December 2006).
